Just ignore them, they have a hatred for modders because they're doing a better job then Konami, he's just salty
I meant without the source code, should have been clear but I'll correct it.
Sorry talking with you is tiring since you repeat the same thing so I'll have to say that what you ask is pointless since you can use the memory card stuff.
I didn't read the rest of your comment.
Pretty ironic from someone saying this about a game they don't even own:
Disagreeing with someone is not a flame war, this is a forum so as long as you don't break steam rules you can talk here, otherwise all the people who don't own the game and talk negatively about a game they don't own (yeah no idea why they even care) would have been permanently banned by now.
So Konami made the memory card trick, no need to try to impress people with something most video games can do nowadays thus it would be a waste of time for Konami.
Go ahead and tell us why they should make a system that detect what games you own and watch huge difference it would make since you'll get the same voiclines as if you used the memory card......
Well, we all played these games before in a better state, maybe that's why some people are not interested in having the MC until they fix it.
maybe if you read it the first time i wouldnt have to repeat myself, but hey, your not gonna read it, im not gonna bother with you anymore, blocked
well i wasnt really "expecting" anything from them, i only wanted MGS3 on PC and i got that, im satisfied, i was just commenting on yet another missed opportunity of many in this collection
theres just so much stuff they couldve done, like dang, how about taking all the european translations (including the superb spanish one) and porting them to the 60Hz NTSC version of the game
well, it is what it is, reminder to not expect anything from metal gear solid delta
Pretty ironic that you say this:
---------
Maybe you have missed it but it's "a hideo kojima game" so talking about him isn't really off-topic, like back in the day his idea about the memory card reading was good but nowadays it impress no one. No his ideas are about likes and peeing on a mushroom.......... age didn't help him....
It is off topic as this thread is about psycho mantis
Are you a steam moderator now ?
The topic is about Psycho mantis reading your memory card which I talk about in my comment, like some said kojima was a genius for having mantis read the memory card and "moving" the controller by making it vibrate but nowadays that will surprise nobody.
That why Konami did a good job with the memory card trick but I guess it's easier to demand more and call them lazy when in reality they have done the job: Make the game playable as close as possible as the OG way, maybe in MGS1 remake they'll do something because in 2023 Mantis trick is...... well not impressive.
But alot of people want that authenticity.. there's alot of things they could of done better, this seems AFAIK a basic port of the games from ps3, and mgs1 using things like bilinear filtering which should be off or at least an option
At least there's patches I suppose, interested to see how far they'll go
Yeah, I don't get it. What does Kojima have to do with the Master Collection? Did he supervise it or something like that?
Not so challenging, there is a better, easier way to implement this:
By adding minigames to the game, this way Mantis doesn't have to "see" your library. So Mantis would mention what minigames you spent more time playing. You could access them through the main menu or whatever, maybe as a bonus after beating the game.
