VR missions.
Offer so much variety and is better than Death Stranding, I wish MGS3 at these too.

Who had the idea to include VR missions in the game and expand them in Integral?

Konami I guess, because there is the JP version of MGS that doesn't include it and other versions have the Specials and VR missions.

Anyway that's off topic it's amazing that the VR missions over so much good and varied content compared to Death Stranding, no need to play 6 hours before it get "good" like people used to say when it came out. :DMCJester2:

I haven't checked if MGS2 have an achievement for completing all VR.

It doesn't. The "only" vr related achievement is 30 1st ranking in VR missions

I used quotes because some achievements doesn't work on main game but does there. Like Hold Upo-litic

The Japanese version of MGS doesn't include what? VR Missions? Well, that's interesting, I've always thought that Integral had them all in its 3rd disc.

MGS integral is different from MGS1 JP version, the JP version doesn't have a difficulty setting and after beating the game you have the option to turn the radar off, voices are in Japanese too. In MGS integral english audio and Japanese text is there and you have the VR missions.

Metal Gear Solid was first released for the PlayStation in Japan on September 3, 1998.

MGS integral: June 24, 1999.

VR missions: September 30, 1999.

Special missions: October 29, 1999.

There is all of these in the MGS1 pack so I know.

Sounds like fun, I still haven't played MGS2 so I hope it work as fine as MGS1 & 3 for me, I need to finish the VR missions (I'm at +90% right now) and exorcise a ghost then I'll have completed MGS1 achievements, I'll still have some other stuff to do like the some other versions of MGS1 and reading the stuff in detail, so I'll see.

Well it's off-topic since it's MGS2 related but I'm talking about VR missions so it should be fine, I think the PC version of MGS 2 had a bunch of them, I'll see it anyway, I have not done my research on the difference between versions aside some small changes.

Well, MGS Integral was released only in Japan and it includes all VR Missions. Also, Special/VR Missions are essentially the same thing, but they called it VR Missions in America and Special Missions in Europe. They were just standalone versions of Integral's 3rd disc, released after Integral.

MGS2 is a great game too, but if we wanna talk about it, I think we should use the correct hub: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2131640/discussions/

Don't get too excited. The work you need to put in to get the "only" VR achievement is like an hour worth of play time at most. Bet I'm halfway done from just Raiden's VR missions

Well it's fine I suppose, MGS1 VR missions already bring a lot of content so I'll see there.
