That said, we know nothing about Volume 2 outside of datamined codes. If they're doing MGS4 any justice at all, it will take a good while, assuming Volume 2 does indeed pack 4, 5, and PW. 4 would be the only game they'd need to pour in significant amount of resources in, while 5 is already on PC and Konami's shown they aren't above copy-pasting HD Collection over.
I think the contents of Master Collection Vol. 2 have been leaked some time ago, it should contain Peace Walker, MGS4 and MGS5.
Pretty sure the second reason besides making more money through two volumes is that MGS4 is the only game that has not been properly ported to anything in a way where it would run on any non-♥♥♥♥♥ system. With 2 and 3, they could port the HD collection, with PW too, but with 4, they have to think of something else.
