What rank did everyone get their first playthrough?

Either from this version or the OG back in the day if you can remember.

This was my 3rd playthrough ever and 1st in about 10 years and I got tarantula. Pretty happy with that

Jeez, you remember the rank you got on your first play through? I first played it on PS1 when it first came out, only kinda turned it on to screw around with it since then, don't think I've beaten it since then. Definitely not going to get a great rank this time around either, I spend a lot of time experimenting and exploring. I also save constantly.

cant remember the ranks I got from ps1.. I started playing it when I was 4. But my first play through on this master collection I jst got leopard so not great.

Lmao jokes aside yeah I don't remember too, like back in the days I played at a friend house and hearing the Alert sound effect scared us, we had trouble passing the tank hangar laser part because we did that part in 3rd person view so we had to guess if the laser was high enough or not based on that one camera angle.

It's only some years later that I got to play on my own.

Your ranking is relied on two things - first, the difficulty (easy to extreme)
and secondly, a 'rank' which shows how good you are (1 to 12). Here's the
table so you can see your rank and selected difficulty:
