Been looking forward to this, what a let down

I had played this as a kid on my PS1, but never managed to complete it, then lost the CD. Been dreaming to get this and do a 100% playthrough, but the reviews break my heart. Is there no hope for a future fix for all these issues?

These are massive problems imo, heard they were just running an emulator but poorly, so how is this in any way a remaster? Shameful

Would not be just perfect for you the terrible resolution? just like it was during your childhood.
If you care about graphic, but the GOG version

About crashes and save issues, I've not yet

I guess, but when you release a game with such a price tag, I expect modern support. I won't pay if the pirated version is better quality. I try to keep all my games in Steam, but yeah, if this doesn't change, I might get from GOG

this version won't change, this is a port. the GOG version is the same that was released on PC but they fixed many things.
