cannot access weapon menu via PS4 controller

first when i got the chaf grenades i tried using them for the camera, but i couldn't. i just thought maybe i needed the gun to access the weapons menu. maybe it's because i'm playing on normal (idk)

and now that i have the socom, i cannot access the weapons menu for anything. i can put the socom away with R1, and even access my item meny with L2...

any idea what gives??

i also just discovered that i can't even spray the coolant with the mgs2, but i was able to shoot the gun????? what a weird port

thank you for the post, but after doing so, i still cannot bring up the weapons menu by holding down R2

L2 works fine, same with L1.
