How to Download and install the North American and Japanese Language packs

1. Make sure that you own the game: Metal Gear Solid: Masters Collection
2. Google for "Metal gear solid North American language pack SteamDB" (or Japanese)
3. Go to the top-right corner on the website and "SIGN IN" with your Steam ID.
4. Download your preferred language pack.
5. Nothing happened? Yes it did. Now proceed to step 6.
6. Open up your Steam Library and right-click on Metal Gear Solid Master Collection and select Properties.
7. Then go to the tab "DLC" and select the language pack you want to install.
8. ENJOY!

If you are playing PAL/EU you might also get higher framerate as well. Although I haven't confirmed it yet.

This missing language packs problem seems to be only affecting those who preordered. Ppl who buy the collection now have everything already included (except the preorder bonus) without any need to manually add anything from steamdb.

Just ran into this as a player. Most people should be able to just go to Library > Metal Gear Solid > Properties > DLC and then checkmark everything they want there.

Не е сигурно, че записите ти са напълно изгубени. Когато инсталира американския пач за език, се стартира друга версия на играта (която има различни файлове за запис). Ако например изтриеш играта напълно (заедно с американския пач за гласове), има голям шанс играта да се стартира с версията, която си имал преди да инсталираш пача за гласове. Тогава може и да видиш записите си отново. Те не трябва да са изтрити само защото стартираш друга версия на играта.

European Version:

Note:
If you have a save file in for example the European version, it won't work with the Japanese Version, and vice versa. You wiil need to start from scratch, if you switch versions.

Also, your save file won't be lost if you change version. If you change back to the version you originally played at, the saves should reappear.
