- MGS1 is merely an emulation of the PS1 version, with no improvements or work done.
- Analog support in MGS1 is cumbersome.
- The rendering of MGS1 on the PS1 is sharper and clearer than the Master Collection version.
- Inventory issues exist in MGS1 and MGS VR.
- No option to change the aspect ratio.
- No widescreen support.
- MGS2 & 3 are ports of a port (hence more bugs), with the only change being the resolution at 1080p.
- MGS2 & 3 are essentially the 2011 HD Collection versions, simply adapted for newer platforms (Konami didn't even update the dates in the main menus, Copyright 2011, showing the lack of effort in this Master Collection).
- The cutscenes in MGS2 & 3 remain identical with no resolution changes.
- MGS3 has the exact same save menu as Snake Eater.
- The absence of MGS Peace Walker represents a downgrade compared to the HD Collection version.
- Reminder: Konami didn't work on the HD Collection; Bluepoint handled all the work.
- Konami simply slapped its name on the product and added a few new, elegant menus before the game loads.
- The game is sold at an excessive price, especially considering that remasters with more work and investment are being sold for half the price of this Master Collection Vol. 1.
- Reminder: No patches were applied at the time to fix the bugs on Xbox 360/PS3, so expect the same.

The default is by your region, you have the NTSC included so you know we can see that you are trolling on the first line.
You can't lose money when you spent nothing on development
Yes ! but the game have not DENUVO... so, you know what to do.
And yes, sadly, this compilation is an absolute shame. But maybe, in few weeks, modders will bring us all we need.
The fact that people are getting trolled with PAL version by Konami in 2023 says a lot
Also, all of mgs2 is PAL except for japanese
I would even say that buying this game is a lack of respect towards Hideo Kojima and the 20 years of pure enjoyment he has given us
