Can't play VR missions and Integral
The game says I can't play them without north american and japanese packs, when I try to download them, there's no way to download them yet. I can only play MGS1 and Special missions.

Is this a regional issue or will it be fixed later?

Right click on the game in Steam library - Properties - DLC - tick the boxes. It will install the required packs. MGS2 and MGS3 also have Japanese packs you can download this way and the master collection bonus features has some stuff as well that isn't installed by default because Konami, I guess.

you'll have to go to SteamDB, find the DLC's from mgs master collection, hit install and it will ask you to open with steam, then you go to your library to mgs properties and in the DLC section you can enable them, seems like they havent updated the store yet

I'll just wait for them to fix it I guess
This is complete BS. I've been waiting impatiently for this game to come out. I've been dying to try integral only to be ♥♥♥♥ blocked by the fact that not everything is available just yet. WTF is Konami playing at?

Yeah me too, after I learned integral is the best version of the game.
There is a work around to get the DLC's needed to play integral. I had to do this recently for both the bonus content and MGS. I can provide a link to both. I know someone mentioned it earlier but not everyone knows how to get to the SteamDB so I've provided the links.

Metal Gear Solid DLC - https://steamdb.info/app/2131630/dlc/

Bonus Content DLC - https://steamdb.info/app/2306740/dlc/

What you can do is click on each DLC and look up at the top of the page and click install. it should automatically add the DLC, in this case the Japanese and European packs, to your game.

Need to manually install Japanese and UK packs. In your Library click on the game. On the game page look for Manage DLC and then check the boxes and hit ok and the two packs will install and you'll have access.

Konami really somehow managed to butcher the release, it really seemed promising at first. Half of the content of a package isn't available and other 2 games run at 720p even though they were advertised to be 1080p which is my native resolution so I really didn't care when they announced everything will be 1080p locked.
It wasn't just Konami. Bluepoint is the one that cobbled a lot of this together and didn't even bother to make sure it was right on the PC. It seems like everything is running inside of an emulator. They should have taken the time to truly take the original content, spruce it up, and release it on the PC system instead of through emulation. They should have looked into having someone like Nixxes to port the games proper.

Any confirmation about this resolution downgrade on the ps5 port? I saw multiple posts on twitter confirming vr missions and Integral are also unplayable for many people on ps5, same language pack unavailable to download as steam.
Not my problem with Sony, those ponies just love to console war and the salt makes for good entertainment. Either way its not good that Konami and bluepoint have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this up for everyone. I think the Switch is the same issue though don't quote me on it.

Jesus. But tell you what, I'll take it. I played MGSV for about 600 hours, did everything there was to do, I was just bored and really needed the classics. At least it's all playable.

I don't think Bluepoint was involved with this port.

They made the original collection on 360 and PS3, but I think Konami is the one responsible for the Master ports which explains how lacking it is since they just ported the Bluepoint version with minimal optimization for PC and in some ways made it worse

I need to pay closer attention to information provided. So Konami just did a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ job, as per normal, when trying to bring the games to the PC. They really don't care about the PC market do they?

Small correction: Konami just don't care in general lol.

You can even see that the copyright info for the games still say 2012, and made aspects worse.
