Also this is Volume 1, we could see it later.
What does that mean ?
That's a missed opportunity because they are adding a bunch of MGS1 versions but not the remake, that make no sense.
So they are selling the popular ones and adding the very old NES games because why not.
It sold that bad ? Wasn't It like a good remake ? Back in my days my brother bought a Gamecube just to play it (and got other games too but he was a real MGS fan).
With Nintendo ? Or about the stock footage that was supposed to be resolved ?
Also yeah, it sold poorly because, the last MG game to come out on a Nintendo console was Snakes Revenge in the 80s, it was a remake of the original MGS1, which most people had already played, even if it was a good remake, and plus it came out on 2004, where most people had moved on from Gamecube, since it was one of Nintendos worst selling consoles, and the audience for MGS was on the PS2.
The same happened with MGS2 Substance on Xbox, it didnt even break a million copies
No it was pretty bad, MGS1 didn't have in mind Snake using tranq weapons, hanging, the OST is inferior to the OG and the cutscenes....... pretty horrible.
So it sold poorly hence it being the 2nd worst saled MGS (first being Ghost Babel on GBC).
I didn't play the old version so I can't say, guess Konami doesn't want my money for now.
Ok thanks for the infos dood, i guess the bad sales played a role here since konami want money and if even metal gear garbage sold more copies.......
Well topic closed.
It sold that bad because it was a Gamecube exclusive, and fans of Metal Gear Solid purchased a PS2 to play Metal Gear Solid 2/3.
So TS was stuck in a console owned by people that didn't care much about Metal Gear Solid.

I forget if the Twin Snakes was on Unreal (not 3, but 2?), but Silicon Knights dying means the source code was probably lost. It isn't a Konami made game, and besides: Most fans hate all the changes (and easier difficulty) that TTS did to MGS1.
Could possibly come in "Volume 2" but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I mean if all you did was say that then I understand why it happened to you, are you saying it was unfair ?
MGS portable Ops sold more copies and it was only on PSP.
You know, just like OP now I'm wondering why Nintendo wouldn't want them to let konami port the game and just ask a cut, they'll get free money for doing nothing.
