None of that really points to these games not being emulated though does it. My understanding is the bugs that have been fixed are visual and the in game cut-scenes are the historical footage fmv's. The games could still be running on a custom emulator, it's entirely probable considering the news regarding resolution and frame rate. A more telling sign will be the system requirements to run the games, kind of fishy they don't have any yet.
Do you really think they're releasing PS3/360 games emulated? That would never run on the Switch. Unless you really think they made native ports of those games for the Switch and settled for emulation for all the other platforms.
MGS1 is emulated. The MSX games are emulated. The NES games are emulated. The PS3/360 are not emulated, that would be ludicrous.
the switch version suffers from fps drops and slowdowns from the targeted 30 frames. Like I said It could very well be a custom emulator. Konami could even potentially use it for other collections like Silent Hill. Why are the games only 1080p on pc and playstation/xbox? Where are the system requirements? Why is this so hard to believe? All signs point to the La Li Lu Le Lo
These games are NOT gold yet.
true, but no indication that the games are not emulated. How do you explain 30 frames cap on switch and the low resolution on playstation, xbox, and pc. What reason could they have for capping the resolution on pc at 1080p? It doesn't make any sense. Also, Still no system requirements for the collection. Strange as they surely are not testing for requirements just 2 months before release. I'm guessing they wont make them known until close to the release date. None of this adds up and I believe it points to the collection being emulated.
True, I wonder why people think that it isn't possible.
Yeah Mr White! Yeah science!
