Yes and no..

Other than the fact that FoC predates on the timeline Prime (or any transformer series except Beast Wars). Prime is another retelling of the transformers story so it could be said that FoC could transition into Prime or G1 from the 80s.

Any diehard transformer lore expert is welcome to correct me.

problem about G1 is that ratchet and wheeljack are the ones that created the dinobots
while fall of cybertron shock wave created the dinobots and shockwave arm is replaced with a gun like in prime and the fact megatron is the reason bumblebee lost his voice box like in prime

You're right T-REX in all you stated, but the reworked origin of the Dinobots are timelined to the 'new comics'. I like the G1 version better though, it just made more sense.

How i interpreted it, all the dinobots in FoC died, so the other autobots never saw them. Grimlock for sure died.

actually were not sure if he died in the space bridge he could of gotten teleported to earth for all we know or he fell off the tower and his team found him
