Ha, hard call. Well the first one has only one point in witch is beter. It has co-op campaign. The second one is beter in every other aspect. Do take into account the fact that the strong point of these games are the single player campaign so i would recommend geting them both and playing in the natural order.

Well, one is a sequel to the other with a continuing story. So, if you haven't played the first, I would play that one first. The MP sucks for both, so only get these if you are in it for the campaign, which was excellent on the first, and so far excellent on the second.

I've only played Fall of Cybertron... got really bored of the SP... I hate the setting of the game... the one on PS2 that took place on earth was way cooler, lol... anyhoo, I did enjoy the MP though - it was fun although the game seems to have huge issues w/ hackers which is shame (a shame that ppl do that and a shame that the developers do nothing to combat it...)

WfC is quite good. Strong SP campaign save for some escort missions and one particularly tedious one where you have to protect the base while Omega Supreme get repaired. The ability to play ther levels with different characters is a plus, as is the ability to play Co-op. FoC is more tightly scripted...but still pretty satisfying.

MP for both games is excellent, very unique experience, I recommend the Escalation mode, very fast paced, and no cheaters.

I have only played Fall of Cybertron, but I watched a lets play of War for Cybertron. From what I've seen, I like Fall of Cybertron better. But playing as Megatron and busting heads is fun on any game.

I liked War a lot, it kept the same dynamic, where Fall was all over the place, and I felt really immersed in the story and I was never bored. Fall just seemed like it was trying to shove to much into it, with less strategy and more random destruction.

Fall of Cybertron would be strange if it had co-op. It was made "single player" for a reason; it's quite linear at times but very engaging. The single player takes quite a while to complete, and I was shocked about that. Multiplayer is very 'fun' to say the least, and the classes are very balanced if you're versatile.

Fall is better overall, People who think war is better have rose tinted glasses. I just replayed both back to back

Character models and graphics are better in Fall than war overall. War has serious visibility (problems easily seeing enemies) issues and problems with pacing in levels (the levels drag on the campaign).

The multiplayer is a toss up since Wars characters had tighter controls but uglier art. Starscream and most models looks way better in fall of cybertron.

Either way they are both console ports that leave a lot to be desired in the multiplayer department, if this was a real PC game we'd be able to add our own transformers models/weapons/maps/etc.

Fall of Cybertron, the multiplayer is unbelievably fun and the campaign is awesome.
