Buy the game off gee two eh dot com (Steam won't allow me to directly link to this site, it's a Steam game marketplace, I spelled the URL phonetically). I got it a few days ago for around three bucks USD.

Since Activision and/or/maybe Hasbro decided to not give a ♥♥♥♥ about the sales of this game after the first year, of course the game's price is still gonna be the same.
The last actual update for the PC version was the launch of the DLC packs and that was it, maybe a small weapon rebalance for multiplayer or some other ♥♥♥♥ and that was it.
If you want to get this game for less cash try other online stores that sell virtual copies of the game, such as, Kingwin, G)2A etc. as for the DLCs you can buy them or unlock them from the ini file.

Did the price increase? I'm looking at $80 USD base price in my region now, I'm sure it was only $60 before ... that seems high for an old game. The exchange rate moved unfavourably over the last 6 months, so maybe Activision are so bad at finance that they figured that meant they need to increase the price in $US in this region.

for me currently its 50 usd normal price but on sale with the dlc for 17.50 usd and 25.00 for just the game lmao logic

did the value of your currency go down recently? Unfortuantely for most of the world the US keeps having deflation meaning the dollar went up in comparison

Yup our dollar went down. However the store where I am is still priced in USD (so it says $79.99 USD) so they receive the same amount regardless of what our currency does. Except now they increased the price $20 USD so there's that extra money.

On reflection though I'm suspecting they're increasing the price then having a 75% off sale so they still charge the same amount but it looks like the discount is larger. Which is highly illegal here.

Price went back to $49.99 after the sale ended so seems like it was the latter. Still way too much though, either way.
