Personally. Im calling this person out, as a lier. If they can not prove by sharing their creation with the rest of the community, I would expect that they are not telling anyone the truth and heres the thing, if you can get into the XXX Files changing the eye color is SIMPLE, so I Doubt someone who finds that a complicated process has the intelligence to make an encoder / decoder, for the files.
The only dificult part about this is making a Decoder / encoder, and that is harder then both editing colors in a video, and editing colors in a picture. So until He shares this so called "encoder" with the rest of us.
His software has the power to save this game if it is real.
I should note that using Texmod in this way will reset your campaign progress, so bear that in mind.
So to set it up you need to copy the Texmod Application into the Binaries.
You'll need to rename "TFOC" to something like "TFOC2".
Then you will need to rename the Texmod application to "TFOC".
This will make it so that instead of launching FOC, Texmod will be loaded instead.
Once that is setup you will need to set the Target Application to "TFOC2".
Now that Texmod is set up to run FOC, you will need to switch over to Logging Mode.
Make sure you enable a few things:
1) Make sure Translucent is checked
2) Make sure the Output Format is TGA as FOC is pretty picky with out it's textures come out.
Once that's all setup you should be ready to go. All that's left is simply navigating through the game and finding the textures you want. That texture you have selected will appear as green in game. You use the Number Pad + and - to scroll through textures.
You can let me know if you need any more help.
Once my recoloring is done, I save it and go to Package Build where I browse TexMod.log. I then click on Build and it asks me to name a file. I then go to Package mode where I select my newest file, and then Run the game.
Let's say I wanted to recolor eyes. Well the whole head has a subtle change of textures as if it was chromed but the eyes doesn't chage at all.
I managed to do it right the first time but now It no longer works. What am I missing ? What am I doing wrong ?
Thank you for your help
