Co-Op campaign?
War for cybertron had a fully coop campaign, does this not have that?

Apparently there's only a survival/horde mode:

The Campaign wasn't designed with co op in mind, which is a good and a bad decizion.
The co op in War for Cybertron was sooo fun but to be honest the story could have been way better.(Decepticon Campaign: Introduce Dark Energon into the core of Cybertron END. The autobot half wasn't as streight forward but still needed a bit more polish)
The Campaign in Fall of Cybertron was awesome, the developers added soo much awesome ♥♥♥♥ that to be honest most of it it wouldn't have been posible if there was co op (How can you play the Bruticus's segments in co op, Grimlok's chapters, Prime's chapters where you get to comand Metroplex).
The campaign in War for Cybertron was tons of fun but needed to have a lot more work put into.
Not adding co op in the Campaign for Fall of Cybertron was the right choice, they focused on creating a much better story.

Well there was plenty of bad co-op moments in war for cybertron, namely the racing and on rails section but it was still immense fun with the friends I did it with. Especially when that one person who kept falling off finally got it together.

Oh well, not sure a survival mode is enough pull and co-op campaigns would have been. Cheers for the explanation though!

I am sure although not functional multiple people controlling bruticus would still have been hilarious fun.

Ewh no.

That's impossible to do. One company does not simply give 4 players to controll ONE body, it would be impossible to do so. Besides, even if it that was possible then 4 players wouldn't be enough to control Bruticus as Bruticus has 5 parts/components.

Don't judge me for wanting to relive my childhood memories in Video Game format. T_T

Then the clear solution is to make it 5 man co-op... like duh!

Which is still impossible because the game was discared from getting any more updates.

Is the DLC worth getting if i am primarily interested in the campaign and coop escalation/horde mode?

War of Cybertron has Coop, you can play 2 different campaigns as ether The Autobots or the Cons. It's very well done. I've been playing it and I'm honestly enjoying it slightly more than Fall of Cybertron. You can tell that they designed the game with 3 player coop from the start. Even if you play alone, you have 2 Ai with you that drive the story and are fully voiced. So when you play with other people, they still talk to each other. It is really awesome.

Also, the music score is AAA.

The only issue with War of Cybertron is that you have to use a Frame Rate 'Unlocker' to uncap the 30fps limit. There is a simple little tweak you have to run, It's on the wiki-transformer:woc page, which is trusted.

Other than that, you can mod the Field of Vision(FOV) easy with the 'Flawless Widescreen' app which is free and trusted.

You can even use 'Sweet FX' to spice up the graphics a bit too.

If you don't mind tweaking the game a bit to unlock the FPS, I highly recommend this game. It's by far one of the best coop games for pc.
