...problem is they're not particularly useful outside of that.
Gabe: Brute + Crabomancer + Tube Samurai. Accessory: Bullseye. 100% static.
Strategy: Defense Stance -> Hexoskeleton/Imitation Crab -> Pinchmax/Whatever the earlier rank was called. My Tank and Damage Dealer. I completely ignored the Hobo once I got the second set of class pins. Challenge is also useful for hard-hitting, low-hp packs that you want to AoE down.
Tycho: Varied significantly. He was my secret weapon, since I'd adapt him to whatever I needed on a fight. Sometimes that was Apocalypt for Fire All's in the Colosseum, other times my Gardener. At one point he was my Delusionist for bosses. But always some sort of support-y role, and never a Gentleman.
Jim: Elemenstor + Gardener.
Late game alternate: Elemenstor + Gentleman.
Strategy: My set up guy. Skeleton + Garden spell, throw out some Buffz, and then fish for an Elemenstor spell weakness. Also a handy back-up rezzer on those annoying 4+ groups where none of them target Gabe.
Moira: Cordwainer + Gentleman.
Late game alternate: Cordwainer + Diva.
Strategy: I had her as my core healer/reviver, not Tycho. Once my Gentleman had Trust Fund or Tycho's lack of speed would not kill me on a boss, she became my dedicated Slow/Interrupt support.
Sadly, I never found a place for the Dinosorcerer, Masochist or Hobo, and the Diva is a living speed buff. Delusionist is great on bosses and Apocalypt for some trash, but only if they have a Fire or Ice weakness, and both jobs need a high turn-count to really be useful over another job. I made use of the Slacker, but only as a gimick Colosseum build in tandem with Amps and Molotovs.
Tycho will do insane damage with the Crabomancer's defense-based attacks (pinchmax, etc.) if you jack up his defense high enough. Put the bullseye on him for good measure.
Once Moira gets Slow, she needs to keep it on bosses at all times. This means that she will not have a lot of MP to spare, so let her pass out buffz or whatever on her spare turns.
I like trial, but I can't stand error. ;)
