Are there more female character options at the start?

I've noticed that at the start of the game there is only one female character option "Ordinary Jane" and all the other options are male. Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to have more female character options at the start of the game?

I meant besides her and ordinary Jane. I didn't mention the tattoo artist since she's one of the default characters.

You Can Later Unlock The Blacksmith, Teacher, And Personal Trainer. Those Are The Only Female Characters.

You Can Later Unlock The Blacksmith, Teacher, And Personal Trainer. Those Are The Only Female Characters.

Get The Blacksmith Building To Level 4 IIRC For The Blacksmith, Get Into A 5v5 And Have All Enemies Act Before You For The Teacher, And Get A Character To Level 20 For The Trainer
