There's a weird thing where like, levels mean something entirely different from one enemy to the next. Like I can fight level 14 goblins no problem, then here come level 4 undead and they put on 14 different debuffs that my characters that they can never shake.
The point is though, there's so many things wrong with this game there's no salvaging it. If you're under 2 hours get that refund and play KoPP2. If not well, it's either deal with it or uninstall and forget about it.
Goblin Sniper does not destroy the entire MP of a character, only those with low mana to begin with. Spell casting characters naturally have a larger mana pool because of the weapons they use. The Cleric also recovers MP equal to 1/2 the damage it deals with a basic attack which can help with mana management. As for the debuffs, If you're tired of getting debuffed, use a paladin to silence or stun the enemies that apply the debuffs and use a Cleric to give your party Blessing so they can remove the debuffs. I think Astral Slumber also removes Debuffs, I may be wrong on that so I'll need to check later. In short, it's as it was with the previous KoPaP games, all about team composition. Figure out your teams weakness and find a way to counter that weakness to have a stronger team.
I would love to play your version of this game, but it's simply not the case. Are you just looking at it from whatever level you are at? Because goblin archer starts appearing very early game and yes, that skill whether it hits or not destroys the entire MP. Maybe at lvl 20 it's only like, half or whatever.
The rest of what you said is stuff I've already done, obviously. The paladin silencing enemies is great if they don't shake the silence, but 75% of the time they do and they place debuffs on the character no matter if they hit or not. It's not about team composition in KoPP3, it's all about luck. I went back to KoPP 1 and 2 to see where this one all went wrong and those games do respect the team composition among many other things. Theres just too many issues with KoPP3 that you are intentionally ignorant to.
I've restarted KoPaP3 multiple times. Each time I try something different. The first couple of times I restarted, I equipped my characters with my highest powered gear to make leveling easier. These last 2 restarts I have only used base gear that the characters start with. The game is very doable and Goblin Snipers are a lot easier to deal with than a group of 5 of the Goblin Mages that apply the Silence and Bleed effect. Feel free to use any of the Teams I have listed in my guide and/or reference the skills guide I have posted which tells you the different attacks each class unlocks as well as what affects their stats (Physical, Spell, Skill).
