But it comes with inflexibility and there are some builds that don't want or can't affort to mitigate that.
Kairos Veil is nice if you have a built that wants to move and still trigger stand still effects.
Both are nice if you run certain builds, but don't do much on others.
My two top tier items are the Red Axe and the Crow Visage.
The Red Axe provides healing on kill as well as extra attacks on kill. Both very strong effects that many builds can take advantage of.
Crow Visage is the item that lets any build with a bit stand still synergy get out of hand as it gives you more triggers indepenend of your own actions. On a dedicated stand still build it can easily nuke the whole map in a single turn.
If you use it, you have to find a way to get rid of Inflexibility which divides Speed. (maybe not on that build where people stack 10k speed but it matters when I only have 100)
And not all builds play with a lot of game-turn triggers.
I probably find myself using Mind Diamond + Red/Green Axe a lot on early cycles as well.
One skill that absolutely breaks the game in general, by itself, is Frostpulse. Maybe it's because I'm on cycle 3-4 but you can literally funnel all your points into that, maybe get a handful of Willpower, and all you have to do is pause a few turns and zap the entire map for 50k damage. Kairos makes it happen every turn. I did almost die a few times, but it's an easy "I win" button.
You can do the same with Mass Mind. Or however it's called now.
