Work on steam deck?

Hi! I haven't officially created a steam deck port, but I know of a few people who play it on the deck and have gotten it to work in some way. But again, I currently haven't looked into that so can't provide any advice. Thanks for the interest!

I did give it a shot initially on launch but couldn't get anything to respond to my inputs. Any insights on what you have done to make it work?

On another try it works out of the box. The right pad can be used as a mouse and I've only had to rebind left stick down to x instead of s so I can move with that.

Honestly full official controller support for this would be awesome, Font size changes and maybe some aspect ratio changes though I know the 4:3 is the nature of this game. I look forward to this running on the go. Its actually been a good game to play on the go. Making it so I don't have to use a mouse/touchpad would be a dream.

Works fine on deck. Just have to touch screen some things like inventory/power screen to make it not a pita.

having some more thoughts about this now that I have a steam deck to test things on --- the joystick being usable for directional inputs and a general "selection" logic should be workable to make it easier to use, will be a fun side project at least

it works great, just use the trackpads for left and rightclick. I play it alot of my deck
