Why can hear no sound in Tera?
Hello,
I have played Tera in Timescape and then suddenly had no more sound I rebooted my game afterwards and have re-installed it later, but still I had no sound
Do you know why this is so or what I can do about it?

Hi,

That's strange. Check your Windows sound settings. Left click the volume icon at the bottom right, then open the Volume Mixer. Make sure TERA isn't muted.
You say you've even re-installed the game, so it can't be an in-game sound option but you could double check that your master volume isn't too low too.
Lastly, in case you lost sound completely, check your speakers' cables.

i have the same issue and i checked my volume mixer... somehow it just doesn't even register TERA... i don't have this issue with any other games and it worked the last time i played tera... i verified my files and nothing came up.. so i don't know if one of the new updates ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the sound or what is really going on.. cuz the issue is not with me that's for sure..

Do you happen to be using a tweaked S1Engine file?

i happen to be using one and its really giving me a HUGE fps boost (like made the game 10 times better in running) so i would rather avoid reinstalling the old s1engine file
is there anyway to like edit the sound back in from inside the s1engine file? like a true/false switch?
