I wanted to know if even in the end game the game is populated or if there are too few people
It's still very populated, but I do recommend you get a guild for the higher end dungeons as people don't trust newbies after ilvl 510. (You can still Instance Match through a lot still), dungeon queue times for me don't last more than 2 or 3 minutes, this changes depending on the time and class I am queuing as, but it usually stays the same, only tanks get faster queues because they are needed.
Got it, too bad that so few people play it is a good game, and being forced to join the guild to do the end game content due to the small population makes me sad
I mean you are not forced to, I said it was for the higher end dungeons because you will get kicked out straight if you aren't known. People aren't taking chances with rookies on stuff like Bahaar or Cursed Fusion Laboratory (newest hard mode), this issue has always been there with TERA since DPS is like your honor system, if you do good DPS, you are good. And people don't expect IMS parties to do good DPS, therefore, it's either a kick or a half baked idea of trust.
At the same time, yes, TERA does have a small population (since I joined back in 2015 it always had a small population compared to your ESO's, GW2, WoW's, FFXIV's and the such), but you won't need to just team up, it's still high enough to do everything solo, out of my 7k hours I swear that I've played 5k of them solo and have had no issues at all, but I focus on different aspects of the game so it may just apply to me.
Game itself is good but the dev team is getting just what they deserve at this point.
A dead game.
And 500 doesn't mean an MMO is dead. Look at Champions Online, which even at its highest point had about 360 average players, and that was the highest (in about 8 years! And its highest peak was less than 800 total!). Now there is less than 150 players on it, but you can still find enough people to do 'dungeons' and level up together etc.
600 active players divided between 6 servers thats barely 100 active players per server.
This game is not dead, is more like non-existent by now thanks to the publisher that has been doing all in their hands to make it the most p2w posible.
