Wanted to say goodbye to my old EU Veteran characters, but they were all gone

I recently learnt about Tera closing and it's indeed sad news. My last revisit was time ago, and all my characters and the Vet status were there. Yesterday I downloaded and installed the game just to say my goodbyes and all my characters and even the vet status were gone. I got the game here in Steam, in 2012, and now I'm supposedly a "new player" lol.

I hope Tera 2 is a thing in a future, who knows. By now, we can keep good memories of something that was unique when it came. The first iteration of the game was always the best. Thanks for all the cheese!

Elyon was a disaster at launch & they were contractually obliged to keep it running, but it put them in the red to such a stupid degree they could not longer run two mmos.

So they shut down the one they were allowed to shut down. Dying out due to mismanagement is failure.
