xermetal at level 30?

soooo i accepted a quest near popolion to gather xermetal. i was really confused, because i found no such ore within the range that tera said it would spawn in. after some research, i found out that my level was too low to even naturally be in the zones where xermetal would spawn - but the quest i got was a level 27 quest?
anyway, i ended up having to go over to kaiator to get the ore. does anyone know if this is by design? i assume it's a glitch considering there was no ore within the designated area....

Its poor design. Afaik it has been that way since forever for crafting material gathering quests. Also there was a crafting overhaul that changed where many materials spawn and I doubt those old quests are updated to show the new spawn locations.

Best thing you can do for crafting material quests is either buying them from trade market or checking achievements tab to see where they spawn and gathering them yourself.

Man kann absolut problemlos eine Teleportrolle in die richtige Gegend kaufen, sie benutzen und dort das Metall sammeln. Die Questmarkierung auf der Karte bezeichnet nur den Abgabeort. Beispiel Xermetall: Kaianator ist rundherum mit so einem Metall gesegnet und dort sind keine Feinde.
