Do write to Support[support.tera-europe.com] though (click Log in through Steam or register a separate account) and ask them to send you a pet as advertised on their website.[en.tera.gameforge.com]
Good luck!
You should normally get a reply in 1 working day but it may be a heavier period now, after the release of the 'event' server.
For some reason, I thought I was reading another thread.
1-9 slot to +9 slot
Only what I said in my first post is valid. o/
No where does it say that the pet isn't included in the bundle. And there are no info that says you'll only get the pet if you buy the monthly package, only that you'll get it "as long as you are a member". Even if you go to the TERA club information section, it doesn't tell you much other than show you items that you "should" get.
Edit: I do get the confusion because it's in the TC description but not in the Starter chest.
Same as you don't get 20x strongbox keys with that pack.
But got a reply for my ticket that it really isn't included in the bundle, which they should put in the description because that is really misleading.
I totally agree with you and already said it was false advertisement, also gave you a link to the TC page.
And one doesn't get 20 strongbox keys because... you say so? He had every reason to expect a pet for the duration of his TC time because it is advertised as a TC perk.
What's more, they must have in fact given him 10 keys because it's a half-term timecard.
But it is included.
And Tera Club gives you a mount, a pet, a village atlas, a journal, double dungeon entries, account-wide Ghillieglade teleportation, permanent complete crystalbind, permanent double reputation, daily Flame to open a Banyaka's box and some consumables, as well as 20 strongbox keys.
NO-WHERE does it say the 15-day sub removes the pet and you get no keys whatsoever.
Do reply to them using the "Complain" button and explain you expect a pet for 15 days, as well as 10 keys (1/2 of 20), since they are part of the TC package, and they don't have to be specifically mentioned in the bundle you purchased. It would be ridiculous to have all TC perks mentioned in that bundle. And if they insist the pet - which is part of TC - 'isn't in the list' (lmao), then ask them for a full refund for their falsely advertised product. I'm curious to see how they will give you your money back instead of giving you the little extra items you actually paid for.
They could've told you the double dungeon entries were also not mentioned in the list. Like wtf...
Because I say so? What kind of argument is that. lol. Because it's not advertised to be included. The starter chest gives the mentioned rewards + the benefit of having TC, not the extra bonusses that buying TC itself gives.
I don't really get why he's complaining though.
The starter pack gives good value compared to the price of extra bank or character slots.
You won't really miss the pet all too much. There's plenty of pets you can get from achievements or buy one from the Trade broker. Depending on the server it's max maybe 20k gold.
On the contrary - it's advertised to be included in the Tera Club subscription as an integral part of it. Who told you it was an 'extra bonus'? lmao The Village Atlas was also given separately in the past as an item. Is it an 'extra bonus' too? The pet doesn't need to be mentioned specifically in the Shop package because it's part of TC. Moreover, if it is indeed not included, then this must be communicated with customers, not withheld. Yes, it's just a temp looting pet but it's a principle question of false advertisement. And when a merchant is at fault, they must apologise to their customers and either give them what they promised or issue a refund since the item is not as described.
A reputable business would've given the guy a 15-day pet, since they obviously can't put it on the TC bar. And if they aren't competent enough to create a 15-day pet scroll, which I don't believe, then they must give him a 30-day pet as compensation for him having to contact them about this. It's just a fcking temp and untradable pet but this simple thing would've settled the issue instead of leaving the impression of an incompetent, greedy merchant.
