TERA
Max level boost?
I am thinking of rolling on the international server Killian and purchasing a max level boost scroll.

Typing into google says you need to have elite status for the scroll?

Could someone spread some light on this? Do I get elite status after subscribing and how much does it cost for the scroll?

elite status is obtained by owning a cd key, if you get a cd key (for 8-9 euros) u get a free month tera club aswell, which has level boosters in the bar (3x 100% a day i think) so you wouldnt even have to buy the scroll then the scrolls price however is found in the tera store (im not ingame so cant check price, sorry ^^'')

He's asking about XP scrolls, not XP boosts. Unless he simply doesn't know what scroll he's talking about. Guess some clarification is needed.

Elite status is how the premium subscription is called on the American servers. On the European servers, it's called Tera Club.
As already mentioned, one of the perks that comes with Tera Club are 3x 100% XP boosts from hunting monsters (1 hour each).
There are other scrolls, however, which give you a fixed amount of XP and you could level by just using these scrolls. This is too costly though. You can level normally within 2-4 days, with or without a boost. The actual game starts at max level.

The BuddyUp system - for new and returning players - gives you a 50% XP boost at the start and a 100% boost at L50. You can also get XP boosts from a battleground called Kumas Royale.

Subscribing to Tera Club can be done for 1 month, 3 months or a year. If you don't want the initial period to get automatically extended, you gotta disable the automatic renewal. There are also tradable Tera Club vouchers in-tame - like time cards, for which you pay someone with gold. It won't be an option for you at the start though.

Have fun! o/

Thanks for the info. I have uninstalled from steam and installed throug their website so i can see more details on the tera club on the launcher.

I have seen details for the tera club "Elite Status" and buying EMP. I have googled max level scroll boost on google and shows me this scroll for 5000 EMP.

I am unsure yet as this will cost me £80, I have no idea if players still play on Killian

I didn't say you needed to uninstall the game version you got from Steam. It's still Tera EU.

Like I said, Elite Status is the American version of Tera Club we have on the European version. EMP is their version of Tera Thalers - the cash shop currency you buy with real money and use to buy items off the shop.

Right now there are no XP scrolls in the shop for low levels. There are 2 types of such scrolls which give a fixed amount of XP per use for characters over L50 (tradable, 119 TT each atm) and over L60 (not tradable, 169 TT each atm). Type Experience Points in the shop's search box.
There have never instant L60 scrolls in the European shop, or I've just never heard about them. I know it is, or at least was possible to buy an instance L60 scroll on Tera NA. However, it's largely not worth the bother. Leveling takes really little time and you get to know your character and its skills as you level up. And this isn't even the beginning - your actual journey of upgrading your gear and personal skill level (i.e. how you handle your character - skill chains, reaction time, learning dungeon mechanics, getting to know other classes especially for PvP fights) starts after reaching max level (that's L65).

If you're willing to pay 80 quid to skip the entire leveling process, I'd be more than happy to level a char for you and give you my PayPal when done. This is as much of a serious offer as it is a joke obviously, so I'll leave the conclusion to you.

As for playing still playing on Killian - yes, they do. Killian (formally a PvP server) and Mystel (formally a PvE server) are now-older servers with international communities and population their somewhat healthy, while the other two older servers are for either French or German speaking players. There are 3 new servers as of 10th October but I don't know what the population there even is. The dungeon and battleground matching pools are shared amongst all servers.
