Report a translation problem
You can invite someone only if you're on the same server. To do that, simply type /invite playername. It must be spelled out correctly though. Some people have wéïrd nàmès.
Alternatively, click on their character if your see them near you or on their character name in the chat and select the invite to party option.
If either one of you is in an Instance Matching created party, it won't be possible to invite extra people manually. You have to leave that party first. To do that, type /drop or right click on your HP bar, or left click the red party icon under/above your HP bar.
You can also use /join playername to both invite or join someone.
