Character Slots

How can I get more character slots? I see on the Tera Store it says I can increase slots but it says (3-8) or something. Does that count as 1 single slot, or I can make up to 8 slots? I think the price was around £25 to make 1 slot? I think I'm wrong though, because that sounds a bit expensive for 1 slot. If it is up to 8 slots then I think it is right. I don't know! Haha.

The price of a (3-8) character slot (one slot!) is 249 TT, which is about €15 during 'happy hours'. At the same time, a Standard Edition CD key costs about €10 and unlocks character slots until #8, so if you have only 2 slots at the moment, that's 6 extra character slots for cheaper that a single (3-8) slot.

With (9-16) slots though, you've no other option except making another account etc but you won't be able share untradable items with your alts.

So if I buy the CD Key, can I insert it into this version of Steam?

yes if you get the Founder CD Key you will have 8 slots and 1 month tera club and white Lion for all the chars !

and where am i suppose to insert a cd key on the steam version, you cant login on the normal website using the steam details

Where can we find the CD key code insert place? I know where to get a key, but just not sure that if I buy it then I can't use it on the Steam version?

Lion is for Collector's Edition. Standard Edition gives a noob horse, hence it's lower price.

That's a good question. I don't log into Tera via Steam, as I started playing 4 years ago. Have you tried logging into the online account management using your verified Steam email address and password?

Tried registering with your Steam email address? If it says it's already in use, then you will just need to recover the password. Otherwise you'll have to ask Tera Support for Steam players to tell you how to access your account in order to enter your code (CD key in this case).

Same as above - I thought new players starting via Steam got an automatically created account with their Steam email address if they didn't have an account already.
To enter a code (for some giveaway, Tera Club time card or a CD key), you have to log into your account on the website. I don't know if there's an option to enter codes via the Steam platform, as I myself don't use it to log into the game.

One you need to find a person selling code for gold which is really hard plus *risk of being scammed* unless you mean buying it for $.
Second if you buy with gold you dont need to spend a single *$* so its great if ure farming gold yourself and dont want to spend any money on it. :))

So indeed if people dont want to spend real money on it its great advice.

if you own a tera key, link your steam account in support and send a ticket with your tera key annd asking for activation, they reply very quick and will activate veteran rank for you (which gives u 8 character slots instead of 2), if you dont own a tera key i suggest https://www.m moga. co. uk/ go to profile and login using steam, up the top search for tera and u will see ''tera key'' for 8.49 euro (or change currency to whatever u desire) add to cart and checkout, this goes very fast if you choose the correct payment option, if u go for banking it can take up to 2 days to get the key, any other option is +/- 5-10 minutes

I doubt new players read discussions beforehand but I'll say it nevertheless.
It's best if you register on the Gameforge website first, then link that account to your Steam account. You'll still be signing in automatically via Steam but you won't need to ask Support to enter codes for you, as you'll be able to do that yourself.

your welcome, i agree on the part of first registering on the website, but some people find these games on steam and think just register using this is good enough (like me) whats odd is that they dont have the register linked from here to their website, which allot of games have (register first on the website or use the form in the game, but u can access everything like a non steam user) but atleast we know now how to enter codes, they reply very fast, usually within the same day if your early, which is a good thing, shows they actually care about their players (bad example is Cherrycredits with a 3 days workday wait, and very limited information)
