Account blocked

Hi!,

I installed Tera on steam and when asked wich account to choose, I selected to create an account with steam. When trying to connect, it returned a message that my account has been blocked.
Also, I get the same message in the browser when I want to log in with the account credentials, but the support one it works where I linked my steam account with the one from tera.

I also tried to reinstall Tera, create another account and then immediately blocked it, sign in with a different steam account on my machine and blocked it too....
When I tried to reinstall Tera without steam, it worked, but the server where different. (Fey Forest // Ascension Valley // Celestial Hills etc.)

The problem I think, is that I had an account since 2013 with the same email address and when I tried to create another one with steam, it blocked/banned me?


Does someone know why this is this happening?

1,) for starters, this is tera EU, if the account is from 2013 you have a tera NA account, you cant login with a NA account on EU since they have different publishers

2,) a reason for a insta block is when you use a VPN, simply dont use when you play and request a ban lift or wait 24 hours and hope its lifted

can you give us a link to the website and support website you tried to login to, where did you reinstall tera without steam

since you see the EU server it means your not from america, dont worry you can still play but u have to manually install the NA version through steam or use their website, steam wont show u normally the NA version when your in EU region

I noticed that the messages are the same in the support account (eu / na vers)
I reinstall Tera without steam from the link : http://tera.enmasse.com/ and it worked.

I tried to reinstall Tera without steam from the link : https://en.tera.gameforge.com and I had the same problem, the account was blocked and other ones that I tried to make.


Also I don't use a VPN, or had one open.

Do you have any ping optimiser working? Or maybe some heavy duty ad blocker? It's usually the use of a VPN that leads to an automatic ban, as well as using some proxy.
If you're from Romania, you won't need either of the above anyway. In any case, you need to ask Gameforge Support why your account is blocked and to unblock it. Having played in the past is irrelevant as long as you didn't get banned back then etc.
Can you log into your first TERA Europe account here?[account.tera.gameforge.com] If not, what message do you see?

Hi @Sunflare, unfortunately my account is blocked there too. I contacted the support team 3 days ago and they told me to link my account with steam.... the last response was 2 days ago. In the meanwhile I send more info about it and I'm waiting.

They should reply on Monday.
Our of curiosity, how are you supposed to link your account if you're banned and can't access it? Amazing Support is amazing.

Well the link account option is avaible in home section when you've logged in into your support account. (link: http://support.en.tera.gameforge.com/index.php )

Oh. Well, linking your support account is useless - you're not required to have a Steam profile in order to play TERA, so it doesn't matter whether your support account is linked or not. Your game account is important.

Haven't they replied already with information about the ban?

Account blocked

So i just installed Tera via steam and linked my account like it asked. I wanted to login and my account is bloacked :S. I am trying to make a ticket through there website but it wont let me. Anyone has had this problem before or knows how to fix it? thank you in advance.
