Dozens of hours worth of randomized scenarios including unlockable ships, crewmates (races and skills) and weapons.

Genuinely probably my favorite games ever, I keep coming back to it every year and love it. The base game is beautifully polished and has more content to maintain it's play cycle to keep me playing for hours. And if that ever gets too familiar, I seriously recommend the Multiverse fan mod. Somehow they managed to pack in more features and story into that than the base game and yet still feels like it's Subset's own FTL. I've played so much of it and keep getting surprised by different every game is.
