Why so slow?

The game cursor is super jerky and the game seems super laggy, Repairing the enigine in tutorial took over 10 minutes to do. Any thing I can do to make it more fast past and less, um, jerky?

This game takes up very little resources, and has been known to trigger inactive viruses you already have, it should normally not lag. Tell me your computer specs and what Anit-virus you use.

Try disabling dynamic backgrounds and playing in fullscreen?

Bought the game last week. Literally had the exact same problem. Just updated drivers for my video card. Everything works perfectly.

I have the same problem on my laptop (Sony VPCF137HG). Running Win8-64 bit with the NVIDIA GeForce GT425M driver ver 9.18.13.286 (apparently the latest when I try to update).

Same game on my home PC runs perfectly however. Very strange and this is the only title that has this issue for me. Other, more graphic intensive games, run fine... excluding the Witcher 2... which runs on almost nothing. Lol.

Edit : I'm an idiot. Looks like the Microsoft driver had replaced the NVIDIA one at some point. Re-downloading and will test ASAP. Please wait...

Edit 2 : Installing the Nvidia drivers from their site fixed the problem for me.
