What did you do when you found this? Last time I got this one of my crew members stared into it and evaporated into space, lol. I don't want to risk it again if the chances aren't good of receiving something good.

I've hit this about 5 or 6 times. Always looked into the eye. Once I just got some free scrap from it. Literally every other time all I got was a Zoltan ship to fight. Not cool.

One of the two times i've looked in, he gave me the heal beam and some scrap, and the other time he made my crew evaporate. Fun place.

I have only twice had a bad thing happen from this. I risk it every time. It can be such a lifesaver.

I've been attacked a couple of times, I've been given a pile of scrap, I've been given Healing Bursts twice and had one of my crewmembers aged backwards until he ceased to exist.

I've only encountered it once but It was much like encountering a loyal federation base. I got scrap, fuel, and a weapon that I don't remember anymore.
