How to get the other trading cards?

so FTL gives out 4 card drops at the start, but how do i get the other 4?

If all of your drops are gone you should be eligible for a booster pack at some point in the near future that will let you get more

Their are three ways you can get the other 4.

1) Trade with friends or other steam members
2) Buy them on the community market
3) Wait until you recieve a booster pack(if you have all your drops for a game, you are elgible to recieve a booster pack of 3 cards, some may be foil.)

If I understand the badge FAQ correctly, you don't get the randomly-dropped booster packs until you've reached Steam Level 10. I got my missing ones from trading, and from selling duplicate cards (or ones from games I didn't care as much about) on the marketplace, and using the profit to buy my missing FTL cards.

No, at level 10 you would get a %200 higher chance (three times as high!)
It is +20% every level, and any level can get them (as long as the meet the requirements)

No it's +20% every 10 levels, not every level. I'm pretty sure you don't need to be level 10 to receive booster packs either.

Yeah, I got doubles for a couple of games. For FTL I got two Zoltan Cruisers.

I've played for more than 100 hours now, and did not get any booster pack, so imo its rather uncommon...

You dont get booster packs for playing the game. They are given out randomly when people craft badges.

The two requirements to get booster packs are that you have collected your normal card drops for a certain game and that you have logged into steam once in the past week.
