Problems streaming in OBS

Hi guys, I'm trying to stream this in OBS and I have over 10 copies of FTL to give away, but streaming it with game capture causes an instant crash, and if I stream it with windows capture then its frozen on the start screen. I can stream other games without problems, has this happened to anyone else and is there a solution?

I've just started having the same problem with this game and Darkest Dungeon!!

You can try a couple of things (yes, I know the topic date, but this guy still needs help)

- Run the game in Windowed as opposed to fullscreen / fullwindowed / anything else / fiddle and faff and see if anything works better
- Find FTLGame.exe, right-click, click Properties, then Compatibility, then "Disable DPI scaling on high somethings" or whatever it is (it mentions DPI and it's a checkbox).

I don't think I ever did find a solution to this besides streaming it in full capture (desktop or whatever its called) mode, so a solution is always good :)
