Get slipstream mod manager, plop captains edition files into the mods folder supplied by the mod manager. Patch captains edition resources first, then patch the actual captains edition. Launch FTL, yer done.

And by patching he means get them in that order in the mods list on slipstream and tick both of them on before hitting the "patch" button.

slipstream manager could be improved to follow a mod order batch list, as it is it's a bit confusing for the, lets call them "intellectually challenged" casuals.
