FTL: Unlock all ships cheat
Why has nobody done this save file for advanced edition? I have neither the time nor the inclination to spend multiple hours a day trying to beat a game I play for fun - if I get a free 10 minute break I'll play this - it's super rare that I have the time to make it to the last sector and I've only even sat down with the goal of beating the final boss once. Took a few hours and that was on easy. I'm not a regular player but this game is a very enjoyable way to waste a few minutes.

I don't honestly care if you don't like that I can't spend days on this trying to unlock all the ships. I don't even care if the unlock doesn't come with b & c modes because its nice having a goal but the ship quests are too few and too far between. I had a chance to get the mantis one but I died in solar flare fight totally unrelated to the mission. I randomly got the stealth ship though.

TL;DR - I don't have enough time to unlock all the ships but I'm tired of playing the same four ships (stealth, engi, federation, kestrel). Please link or create a save-file for me to use that contains 8/8 ships. Thanks!

Why is this information not on the front page or already done for me? I have neither the time nor the inclination to spend a few seconds trying to search the forums for an unlock file. I have no idea how to use a "search engine" to find what I'm looking for, so I'm tasking you sub-humans on the forums to do the work for me.

I don't honestly care if you don't like that I can't be bothered to even post nicely about it. I just want everything unlocked without having to play the game or even install it. I am the type of person that pays for those silly DLC items that just unlock items that can be gained in-game if you played for more than 5 minutes. I'm also the person who keeps the Candy Crush jerks flush with enough cash so they can bully actual developers.

TL;DR - I am possibly the laziest person on the planet. Thanks!

QFT... although I think it's more paraphrased, but you get the idea.

If you don't have time to play the game, then maybe you should just "not" play the game. When you do have time to play, play a ship you have, and eventually you can get them yourself. The only ship where cheating is justified is with the Crystal, because it's extremely lucky to get, given all the events that have to line up in 1 run. No, I'm not going to help you. You can dig this crap up yourself, but wait, you don't seem to have time for that either. Do you always want everyone to do everything for you? Sorry, but sooner or later, you got to learn to do stuff yourself.

I think your overreacting jus a lil, some people just dont have the time to unlock everything, expecially as having all the ships and layouts add's a ton of more fun to FTL. I unlocked everything except the crystal ship (and new AE stuff) but my save was lost to time, am I going to unlock everything i had already unlocked before? nah! rather just cheat that stuff and unlock the new stuff properly. it's a shame there isnt a steam cloud feature for save games as alot of the unlocks are about chance.

so, what are you trying to do when you play? not beat it? it's not like you cannot just save your run for the next 10 free mins you have.

>make a judgement about a person
>call that person judgemental.

also, procreation is not the top thing on everyone's mind all the time. it may seem crazy, but after you've done it a few times (with a partner, not solo) it stops being the singular focus of your life.

We all play games the way we get most enjoyment out of it. I suspect, for the Op i'ts just the fun of flying all the various ships & see what he encounters and finds the unlock mechanic restraining in his enjoyment.

If you want somebody to read your opinion on their opinion you should voice it shortly after(like in a few days at most) they did. Eleven months later, the chances in most cases are probably slim they'll read your opinion.

I know this thread is 1 year old, but I have to say this is kind of funny coming from a guy with 3000 hours in Dota 1 and 172 hours playing in last 2 weeks. I hope for your sake that was idling.

Wow, that is 12 hours a day on average. I thought I was spending all my free time playing games and I only average 4 hours a day.

Who gives a ♥♥♥♥ how long he plays for and what he spends it on. If he doesn't want to spend that long on FTL then so be it, none of your business.
