Is "Loss of Cabin Pressure" glitched?

As soon as I started I opened all doors and killed any non-lanius crew members I got, had zero oxygen for the whole game and made it to the Flag ship yet didn't get the achivement to unlock B layout.
So just wondering if this is glitched or is there some secret requirement not mentioned? Thanks in adavance.

Edit: I also had the Oxygen room turned off whole game.

Damn.
On my first run the only room that had oxygen was the helm, and couple of more rooms after a enemy hacking. I didn't get the achievement. Now I started 100% Lanius ship and turned off my oxygen room completely. We'll see if this is bugged or not later today (assuming I don't get murdered horribly with only 2 crewmen...).

It worked for me with with oxygen in the pilot room so it isn´t completely broken for everybody, but there have been quite a few complaints about it. Not sure what is going wrong, but it is a straightforward enough quest. Hopefully the devs are working on it, amongst the few other things AE has broken.

huh, worked for me, and I kept 3 rooms full, literally at 19% oxygen the whole way through.

It's probably glitched if your at 0% oxygen.

Yeah I've read elsewhere that:
0%<Oxygen<=20%

In Lanius A, the arrangement I found best was:

Lanius crew in Weapons & Shields.
Teleporter, Engines & Bridge with atmosphere, everything else vented.

This keeps you at 19% O2, while still being able to have Mantis boarders (who dash from the vented cloning room into the teleporter when they resurrect), along with a full complement of air-breathing crew packed into the Engines & Bridge.

You lose the ability to man sensors & doors.... but IMO that's a worthwhile trade-off for the ability to board.

I kept the oxygen system running with only the oxygen and pilot rooms not vented. O2 was 13% the whole game. Got the achievement.

You have to have less than 20% oxygen before the first jump to be able to get the achivement. Other than that, there are no other requirements. You can keep the human in the pilot seat and vent everything else.

I've tried it like more than 4 times already. Still doesn't work. I've tried 0%. I've tried between 1 and 20%. I've tried destroying O2 systems so it's just offline the whole game. I've tried doing it with navigation cabin pressurized and original pilot. I've done it with nothing but lanius crew. Nothing works.

I vented the eitire ship, killing my pilot and turned off my oxygen for the free power. I made it to the flagship with 0% oxygen and only my 2 crew members (sectors 6-8 were with only one because of a stupid mistake on my part and my clone bay being destroyed) I did get the achievement,

Update: Just finished layout B run. Dismissed the pilot, turned off oxygen generator and opened all the doors. No achievement this time either...

I have a hunch: I did quit the game once. Does continue break the achievement..?

Oh, and if you're wondering how come I have so many crewmembers... I was extremely lucky and the 2nd sector was abandoned sector. First shop had 2, then I got one from the translator event and 2nd shop had one!

I got the achievement.

Basically had a pilot locked in the helm and vented the rest of the ship. Sat at about 6% oxygen the entire game.

From what I've seen in my attempts to earn it, and from what others have been saying, the following conditions have to be met:

1) You have to be BETWEEN 1% and 19%. So you have to be ABOVE 0% but cannot pass 19%. If you hit 0%, you won't get it. Same if you hit 20% or more.

2) You MUST have a non-Lanius crew member on board. Someone has to be on your ship who actually needs air.

3) Your O2 room must be powered. (Though this is generally a given as you need to stay above 0%).

I'm starting to believe this is the reason why we didn't get the achievement. Maybe I do yet another run in the near future. Both A and B are fine layouts, so might as well use them yet again. I'll post my results here if I remember...

I also continued from about Sector 6 as I went for some food, may try to do it in one session next time and kept the oxygen between 1% and 19% along with a non-lanius crew member.

Edit: I got layout C for so many ships yet haven't even got layout B for the Kestrel, should finally show that ship some love.

I kind of suspect this achievement can't be obtained if you save and quit then continue later.
It is possable it is also due to bad luck with hacking. If you have air in the pilor room and someone hacks a 4 tile room elswhere on your ship that can take you over 20% o2 if you dont work quick.
