theres a rebel base that has a easier version of the end boss(doesnt have muiltiple stages) i have not come across it but from what others say its not that hard.

other way is to beat game with engi ship

Yeah, it's a rather easy encounter. A tad harder than ships you would encounter at that level, but still very manageable.

I have found it and the shipyard i just did not o the quest. Its rebel stronghold and shipyard in it.
