zoltan monolith.(possible spoilers)

can anything good happen if you pull up to the rogue planet with the monolith?

just lost a crew member because when i pulled up to it the guy started reserve aging until he no longer was in existance.

i assume must need a zoltan on the ship to get a blue option?

From what I have seen (I've only had the event once) something good can happen, I was given an augment.
