Cloning Bay + Engi med-bot Dispersal = waste of scrap.
I had the option of getting the Disperser augment in an encounter(Rebel attacking Engi), and figured it'd be a great way of bypassing the limitations of the Cloning bay.

No dice; Engi Med-bot Dispersal "Requires powered Medbay to function".
Shame, as it'd be a nice combo that's quite rare to get hold of.

Still.... for science!

Clonebay+dna backup bank is much better than medbot+medbay combo anyway.

Was wondering about that myself. Thought I'd just go ahead and buy a clone-bay with the Engi A. Now I no longer have to.

Well, it is kind of obvious. As it is the Medbay that disperses the medi-bots.

Seeing that one replaces the others and therefore uses the same slot, there was a chance that it could work... Also the fact that I can't recall if the "Requires powered Medbay to function" warning was there before AE made me doubt. If it wasn't there before AE, then it would've been crystal clear from the start.
Still would've been worth it to find out.
