Do I need to get the definition of every single person like you, who claimed that the AI cheats without proof?
show me proof it doesnt

Show us proof that you were hit at 100% evasion. Your words are as hollow as your claims without it. Simple as that.
Just mod it the way you want it to be.

Stop complaining about confining yourself to someone elses imagination, it'll never be the way Youd have made it, until You make it so.

Just saying... no offence _/|\_ ...unless you want to be offended, in which case, lol ,/,,
Ah, like a religious type demanding proof there is no god.

FTL does not "cheat" from my rather lengthy experience, though it is a brutal game that can destroy you when you're not expecting it.

That's impossible. There's no way to provide proof of a negatory statement.

In all games that have AI, the AI cheats, and FTL is no different.

For instance, I've noticed that the instant I get lvl 2 shields, all enemies I encounter have lvl 2 or 3. The instant I get lvl 3 shields, all enemies seem to have lvl 3 or 4.

I've fought ships at stars where every pulse sets fire to super important rooms on my ship, while the fires started on their ship are in empty rooms or non essential systems. So I'll constantly have fires starting in my shield room, med bay, O2 room, and weapons room, while fires on the enemy ships start in the sensors room, empty rooms, door control...

It's not nearly as blatant as other games, but it's still way too coincidental to be pure RNG.
It's almost like the progression curve of the enemies was well thought out...

The only ways the AI actually "cheats" (as in works different from the player) are:
Doesn't need vision of your crew to mind control them. They never have sensors in the first place.
Can possibly hit multiple rooms with one projectile weapon, like burst laser. Good or bad depending on how you look at it. Unlikely to take more than 1 hit to a given system but more likely to actually take damage to a system.
Some enemy ships can roll up to 10 weapon power and/or shields while the player is always limited to 8.

Might be others but these are the only ones I could think of at the moment.
