Any plans to port this to Android/iOS?
I wanna play this game but not on my pc! I want something good and challenging that I can take with me, and this game seems to have tons of replay value. I think its perfect for mobile.

Actually, it's possible to hack this to work on a windows tablet, the controls will be extremely awkward with it though. I'll bet the linux version could be worked to run on android somehow, if the source code was available. The devs have moved on though, they won't do it.

Well, for android you could try out Out There or Star Command. Years ago Star Command would probably be the closest to FTL on mobile. Nowadays Out There is probably THE space themed roguelike to get on mobile.

Out There sounds fun, I'll check it out, but boy oh boy I'd love to see FTL on Android.

I originally found FTL thru Star Command. I bought the game, and it was fun, but had no replay value and alot of bugs (ur ship can't actually die in that game). Then I found a review reccomending FTL. And yes FTL is already on Ipad and someone on the subreddit (post a link if i find it) managed to get it on iphone/ipodtouch. And technically you could run a copy of ubuntu touch on your android phone and see if the linux version would work but i highly doubt it. :ftlzoltan:
Tl;dr it's on ipad, iphone/ipodtouch if you follow instructions

Technically run is severely different from actually playable. All iPad only games are technically playable with modified iaps and jailbreak (rememmber Hearthstone back in the days?). The problem lies in the UI being made for a larger screen and your fat fingers not being able to navigate properly.
