What's Your Favorite FTL Event?
I know I definitely haven't seen them all, but even so the best by far was this one...

"What appeared to be a single damaged ship is in fact two ships that have smashed into each other... there is a flurry of comm signals and damage, and it's hard to determine what occurred. The vessels appear to be... Engi? They look locked together by the impact and can't free themselves."

(Engi Crew) Have your Engi crewmember hail the vessel and assess the damage.

- "Your Engi crewmember refuses. In a halting use of adjectives and nouns, followed by some animated holographic aids, the Engi explains the ships are... using each other to, loosely translated, "achieve a union." For some reason, this consolidation of ship matter sounds embarrassing and personal."

- "You elect to leave the two Engi ships... to their "business." After questioning your Engi crewmember, however, you do manage to salvage what scrap parts you can from the perimeter, even though you feel slightly dirty for doing so."

I'm so glad I had an engi when this event happened xD

If you didn't laugh when you saw this event, you're missing the right hemisphere of your brain. Or you're secretly an engi, in which case this matter is extremely uncomfortable for you and I apologize. xD
I think the engi virus event is pretty creative. The one you mentioned was amazing, too.
@Skinny Pete that ones pretty great xD
@Ryuu-senpai I MUST KNOW WHO CREATED THAT WEBCOMIC genius lol
Dirty minds and everything about that event aside, the event is actually named ENGI_SEX in the data folders.
Here's the entire thing I think :
<event name="ENGI_SEX" unique="true"> <text>What appeared to be a single damaged ship is in fact two ships that have smashed into each other... there is a flurry of comm signals and damage, and it's hard to determine what occurred. Ram the b♥♥♥ards.
Yes, that event.
I love it.
Rockmen winning!
I like the mantis ship quest. Because even when I've completely gotten rid of the other ship's oxygen, killed pretty much all their systems, and finish off the last crew member with like one health bar remaining on their ship the mantis captian will still be found barely alive and you can save him. Also, getting a fully maxed mantis is great

(Engi Crew) Threat unresolved. Current Mission imperative: Protocol 52.34.

They respond, "Understood. Re-establishment of Federation highest import. Transmitting hidden base coordinates. Repairing hull and attaching ship to ship ordnance."
You receive a low amount of scrap and a weapon, your ship is repaired for 10 hull damage and a quest marker is added to your map.

Just look at all the stuff you get from that!
