Any good FTL clones?

I love this game, and I'm hungry for more like it.

I'm especially interested in spaceship sims where you can manipulate the ship interior and crew instead of just piloting a ship in space. It also doesn't matter if it's a roguelike or not.

However, anything that pops into your head upon hearing "FTL clone" is probably something I would consider at least worth looking at.

If you have an iPad, you can get Alien Encounter, it's not really the same, but still a fun space game.

Sometimes the clonebay makes an inferior clone.
Just send him or her over to the medical suffocation chamber and make another one. XD

Convoy is the closest to this game that I've found.
I wish there were more "clones", or a sequal, of this game. I really like the way it works.

VERY much inspired by FTL, but with real time, unpausable battles and ship manuevering in combat. I paid $5 on mobile then $10 on steam PC. Now it's $2, and very much worth it. Not as deeply rich as FTL (tall order) but very good on its own.

It really depends on what you want, Convoy has many qualities of FTL. Lacking a good combat system which is what i enjoyed most of FTL. There is Space Rogue listed above currently on special but as the reviews say quite buggy (still need to pick it up myself maybe Xmas Sale). There is also Redcon which i bought last sale as just another Tower Defense game to my surprise it was everything i wanted after beating FTL. You owe it to yourself to give it try if you want an FTL combat experience.
