Sooooooooo when are we getting FTL2?

Have tried "Shortest Trip to Earth"? Similar with expanded features.

If you're hungry for more FTL, you'll want to look towards FTL Multiverse https://ftlmultiverse.fandom.com/wiki/FTL:_Multiverse_Wiki. Only recently have modders been able to crack more deeply into FTL and unlock a huge amount of modding potential. This total overhaul mod adds 30+ new sectors, 200+ weapons/drones, almost 300 playable ships, and over 500 new enemy ship types.

Personally, I will 100% vanilla FTL before digging into any modded content.

As for more FTL from the developers, they're on record saying they want to pursue new titles. The dev team is also a small two man operation, with both devs now being parents. There's less time for them to put into the games they make so they like to focus on prototyping new ideas in the hopes of creating something unique vs. rehashing the same idea.
