I will personally walk you through one on one.
I am $0.00 an hour.
learning the events, so you know what the potental risks and gains are.
learning how to captain your ship, what weapons you like, and how to use your systems effectively.
and lastly, unlocking new ships. different ships start with different equipment, perhaps talored more to how you play.
the game is only hard when you don't know what you're doing.
once you learn all the tricks, know when to pause, what system to shoot at and what weapon/drones combos work, its not a hard game
The more familiar you get with the nature of how the game works, and the more you're willing to work with those mechanics as you learn them, the less difficult it becomes. When the game was still more obviously in the public eye, there was a streamer who ran through every single variant of every single ship on hard, back to back, without losing a single run.
It is POSSIBLE, with some ships, to get unlucky enough to hit an unwinnable run, but it's AT LEAST 90% winnable, and higher if you're using stronger ship (like the Kestrel A, which you start off with) or playing on a lower difficulty than hard.
It is the angle of difficultness that i cant handle. This is totally OK if I want to beat the game on hard - but not on easy. Thats my point i am trying to make. I want learn every bit of the game, but at some moment the game does not permit that. Sometimes i speedpause the game 100 times to figure out the good next step and everything goes totally wrong because they are way stronger.
On Youtube I didnt saw a video where you win the game by "understanding how the game works". You need a truckload of luck. On Easy.
hell, normal is starting to become easy for me and im gonna move on to hard soon
It's becoming popular to make easy to be hard in rogue-like games. This trend is aggrivating.
as i said before. to a seasoned player who knows what he is doing EASY is REALLY EASY.
the amount of scrap rewards you get are insane and the ships are weak in comparison to normal and hard.
you can't expect to beat a rouge-like on your first few runs. EASY difficulty is there so you can learn all the game's aspects and strategies. and get you into its mindset.
once you beat the game on easy once and realize what you're doing is really becomes a very easy difficulty.
you play on hard when you mastered the game.
I would love to know who that streamer was so i can watch the content.
Right now im watching a decent player, mildly entertaining.
