Strange fonts
Hi everyone!
I can't read the writings in dialog windows... It's much confused and makes the game nearly unplayable to me.
Does this happen only to me?
Any suggestion?
(HW: Acer Aspire 5673WLMi notebook)

lol dude that's way too blurry and tiny. Take actual screenshot of the game in windowed mode with irfanview or something.

Or just take a screen shot with steam so we know what you're talking about?

F12 is how you take a screenshot within steam.. did you reverify the integrity of the game cache?

I got 1280x800 screens, but I don't know how to post 'em in forum.
Anyway, how can Iverify the game cache integrity?

go to the game in your steam library then right click on FTL then go to properties then local files

try email techsupport@ftlgame.com and the dev Matthew should eventually get back to you

in the meantime you might check the settings.ini file

it seems like a resolution issue.. the text is overlapping

should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\FTL Faster Than Light\settings.ini

my settings.ini file shows:

fullscreen=3
lastFullScreen=3
music=100
sound=80
altpause=1
dialog_keys=2
showpaths=1
lowend=0
logging=1
ach_pop=1
vsync=0
framelimit=0
swapTexture=0
colorblind=0
dlcEnabled=1
difficulty=2

#Manual resolution choices - overrides anything in the options
#Set manual to 1 and then change the resolution
#Does not check if values are valid. Use with caution.
#If you do not support GL_ARB_framebuffer_object, "stretched" will not function
manual=0
screen_x=0
screen_y=0
windowed=0
stretched=0

maybe try editing the settings.ini to what i have displayed above
M1st1ff 2 AGO 2014 a las 6:15
Copied your entire configuration in my settings file. No result. I'll wait for the official support (I think it's a problem linked to video driver)

if you have ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 it may be worth making sure you have the latest drivers... good luck

also it might be worth trying to lower your desktop resolution by 1 setting to see if that helps

I have Mobility Radeon X1600 and AMD does not publish the drivers anymore. They redirect you on the site of the notebook manufacturer (ACER in this case) and the latest driver made by ACER is the 2009 one...

Anyway the problem exist also in windowed mode 800x600.
