Huge pet peeve when devs send out the update before the patchnotes. I don't like having things downloaded on my computer without knowing what they are.

The downside of it is that it disables mods. I recently started a new profile to play with Twinge's Balance Mod (to unlock everything is this mode and have stats for it only). Was having a great run today, saved and quit. While I was away, the game updated. I continued my saved run and made a few jumps before actually noticed that the Balance Mod was off. Re-enabled it, everything is fine for the most part (just some text, particularly "loading", is now misplaced).

edit: nevermind the glitches I mentioned, I read the slipstream's readme and cleaned it up.

But that particular playthrough is now not 100% Twinge.
