During a game (yeah, i'm in a bad situation)
Thanks, ray! i really should have start there....
Google's not being very friendly for me, by the way. Looking up "ftl game no dc" just gives EA Sports FIFA disconnections and DC comics results because Google loves to ignore your full search in favor of just giving the most popular results for the most popular keywords.
It is not an issue directly to FTL but apparently a bug that can appear after an update from NVIDIA. The configuration is no longer adequate for lastest version but the automatic configuration doesn't launch because it was already done with the old version. Erasing this file will prevent NVIDIA to use the old configuration and start its auto tuning from scratch, with the latest version.
And I google "NO DC" and i found several post from reddit, rockstargame and linustechtips talking about this issue. Don't ask it too much, 'cause it is always happy to answer too much!
Anser too much? Do you get erroneous information as well as the correct answer?
And yes, i indeed get some erroneous information among the correct one. (exemple: No, that doesn't mean my computer is about to blow and i should use your AMAZING promo code to buy a new one) but usually if you found the issue being discussed in another forum, they will keep talking about it until someone find a solution and false solution are pointed.
Results were even worse without it. Searching "FTL NO DC" was just a bunch of DC Comics "The Flash" stuff and some articles about theoretical FTL drives. Oh, and datasheets for DC powered liquid level switches.
